Not 100% sure but i did here around the 800-1000 for disk to disk
Heaps stronger but u will lose some clearance
I've run mine locked and on simex's and now swampers and never had any dramas...

I love to hate my fender but dont think i could ever part with it....Yeah the 80series are nice but there a yota and dont have any character..

For 15k you will pick up a very good 300tdi around the 96model at a guess
and probably with a few goodies already on it.....

Just make sure its been looked ...

Just looking through the ARB catologue it appears that up until 94 there was a snorkel for petrols and a different one for the TDI..

After 94 it would seem they are the same,the only difference appears to be one for ABS and one without...

These are Safari Snorkels...

Ok when i say it leaks like crazy i would describe it as damp after every rain and if its been raining real heavy for long period of time i might get a small pool of water..I have never had wet socks :D

LOL Mine leaks like crazy,after a good rain the drivers side footwell is wet but hey with rubber mats who cares...remember its a hose out interior anyway.....

As for performance:No u cant chip a 300tdi but u can easily mod the fuel pump at home in about 10 minutes and with a nice free flowing ...

I am also vey happy with my OME i run in the front....

Measure up what u need then shop around to find a shock that comes in the right length for your truck...

I would dare say these Holley Avengers would be quiete exspensive,why not look at a rebuilt Quadrajet....IMO they are a much better carbie than Holley and will work on just about work on any angle...

Pretty sure they put the tyre through a tyre guage and I think its about 36.5 or 36.8, cant remember :armsup:, Creepys and procomps wont fit hence the mass smoke up of tyres at outback challenge.

Seriously my mate bought some Airman Bags and they cost him $1300 just for the rear of his 80series!!!
Then add a compressor if you dont have one and the add about $3-400 for solenoids if you want to control them individually.
Plus you need a pretty stiff set of shocks so add some ...

The movent is not causing a vibration thats the uni's fault but i just happened to notice hoo much slop there is in the front output.

Well i took the rear shaft out and and checked the front uni all is well and then i goto cheack the rear and it is jammed solid one way.
So i guess i found the problem!!!!

Interesting christover i recently have done the opposite and increased my lift by 30mm.I am wondering if the uni had got comfortable so to speak and now i have upset it by putting the lift in and it changing angles

I have been chasing a vibration on my 110 and while checking the Uni Joints for movement i noticed the front output shaft has some play in it.

Whats involved in tightening it up?
I will have a read through my workshop manual but any help appreciated..

Has anyone ever had a uni joint that was knackered but to lie under the truck there was no movent.

Basically i have a vibration thats gradually got a little worse and it feels and sounds like a uni but when you lie under the truck and check for movent there is none.

If it can be done you would have to use 80series front springs in the back aswell because from memory the 80 series rear spring is larger in diameter,similar to the rear of a Defender.

I reckon its easier to find a set of rover coils and have the right springs with the right spring rates.
