i found castor plates to be enough for 3 in but not enough for 4in plus tie rod ends rubbed on radius arms i now had big o 4x4 radius arms got them made 25mm longer and to suit 4-5 inch lift clears tie rod ends greatly improved my steering now drives like a stocker :armsup:

mine was doing something simular i found the king pin bearings buggered and panard bushes where gone and a buggered tie rod end check everything twice.

a) should be safe depends how hard ya drive

b) to fix i would drill it out and do a 10mm conversion on the whole hub that way you won't break them again, do a search there is a bit on ere about it

has anyone got any experience with belton coils i got 4in lift on my 80 series and have found that my right side is sagging 15mm+ they are soft coils but i would think this is excessive??

can i put hubs off a 92 80 series onto a 97-97 model just wanna swap hubs over and use 97-98 brakes as i have done the 10mm conversion on my 92 hubs

so with a 80 you need to keep your rim offset in i was thinking of running a 4in lift with 35s on 16x10 rims sounds like i should be running 16x8 rims to clear gaurds any ideas

it might be in your air line either external, or maybe inside your centre i had one installed and found the tube that runs from the locker to the ferel on the case to be slightly crushed which caused a similiur thing

my turboed 1hz has just eaten another crank i can spin the harmonic balancer 360 deg on crank slop on shaft too only after having it replaced four months ago have not even done 5000klms yet, any ideas as to why?

ended up being two bent dowels on my hub :bad-words: closer inspection showed whole hub was in a bad state so i replaced it axle went in fine :lol:
