Re: What can I replace a 22r with?

a 3rz with a snork will run the same as a diesel with a snork underwater, they are very well sealed. Not to sure what you are talking about one going down hill, iv never had any dramas with it running away from me down hills, and i have no transfer gears. Basicly think you have no idea what you are ...

Re: 80 superflex radius arm issues

Sounds the same as when my passenger side calliper shit itself and didnt work, would pull hard drivers side because it was the brake doing all the work.
Mines a hilux, prinicable is the same tho.
Brakes would be my first port of call.

Re: Starter wiring for tractor

Id assume its like a car/4x4 starter. The large pole is the positive cable to it and uses the engine as its earth( Assuming the engine is itself earthed to the battery), Then there should be a smaller terminal somewhere on it, this is were the trigger cable from the barrel goes to. This is assuming ...

Re: What to do what to do....

Im yet to see someone pull a 3rz out to put a bommodore hunk-o-junk in... youd be a fcukin idiot to do it. Big underpowered, hard to cool properly heap-o-shit. If it were me, id look at a 2rz, 2.4L, same pysical size, but maybe a little easier to engineer due to being 300cc less in capacity. Good ...

U bolts tight? Uni joints good? Centre bearing in-tack? Diff pinion sloppy? Engine mounts ok?

Start at one end and work you way to the other end.

no pictures, i used hilux engine mounts(ca mounts are expensive in comparison + i have about 1000000 hilux mounts), and remade the frame mounts to suit. mounted the engine as low as possible (no body lift). This will require the steering box to be moved forward(no prob for urs) to clear the sump. Am ...

i never had those problems with mine, it had good power right the way threw, altho there is a definate rev range on all 3rzed cars iv driven were they seem to pick up a little extra go, altho alot of it seems to be intake noise lol. Out of interest, are any of u guys running the "boost box" aka ...

Re: 3RZ missing under no load

If the pump cant keep up with the demand you will loose pressure, but i doubt that is the case. Maybe the "loss" of power isnt actully a loss, just different power delivery than you were used to when it was running abit off, as you know have the power below 3000rpm, it may just be carrying threw the ...

yamaha_308's intake will work very well. AFM still in the stock peice of pipe. around the stock distance away. With the advantage of better flow and more induction noise lol

Re: 3RZ missing under no load

Id try and keep it the size of the throttle body, which is also the stock size. I only ever had the afm in the stock location.
I would def move yours back tho, it maybe at those rpms there is something funny going on in the intake that gives the AFM funny readings(turbulance or something).
