re opinion
OK, so if we are talking about standard pajero wagon versus standard jackaroo wagon for a tourer I would go the last of the jackaroos with the wide flares and a turbo diesel.
Oh and use it to tow my GQ around on its tralier!!!!!!!!
Ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

re unique patrol
Hey Sean, Its really hard to express sarcasm in a post but after owning and loving a zook and other fourbys I had to give in and get something unstoppable, hence the patrol. The one on my signature got t-boned and now I drive a lime green GQ swb styleside ute. Its a bit of fun stirring non-patrol ...

RE poll results
Hey Chicko, I voted for pajero because jackaroos are only good for putting your Maxitrax against to drive over there roof. And I drive a very unique Patrol and not much chance of me pulling your soggy Jacka out of the first little puddle that stops it!!! Hmmm on that note I seem to recall a bunch of ...

Looking to buy a county wagon
Hi Guys,
Being an avid patrol driver I am not overly familiar with the Land Rover make.
The County Wagon i am going to look at is an 85 model with i think the diesel engine (haven't seen it yet?)
Anything to look out for and are these coil or leaf sprung?
Any info would be handy
Thanks

re SWB
Hi, That price might be close to the money/little high provided the rear windows are not too rusty/at all and the carby has been rebuilt? I have a petrol SWB with the works, 5" lift all new underneath with only 140ks and I would be pushing to get 5k for it. Seems no one wants petrol shorties now ...

RE 4 inch lift
Hey mate, sounds great what you are doing. The only suggestion I would have is to go for Desert Fox panhards. You can buy them on ebay for $205 each with rubber bushes and they are well chunky. Have you also considered TJM shocks? I have just finished a 5 inch lift in a swb with drop boxes, adj rear ...

RE replies
Thanks for all the input.
I should have mentioned I have fitted drop boxes which space the gearbox down and also have extended lower rear arms and 3rds upper adjustable arms.
Shouldn't the vibration or noise be there under normal acceleration and not only when backing off or rolling in neutral?

GRINDING NOISE IN A SWB GQ
Hey Guys,
I have a tb42 swb with a 5 inch lift on 35's.
After fitting the lift I have a horrible grinding noise at about 70 km/h onwards. It is only there if I back off or drop it into nuetral.
I have replaced all bushes and universal joints???
Any ideas???
