Outer Limits 4x4 Board

So by the sounds of it there is not much out there to do this job neatly and professionally.

I have just brought myself a roofrack for my gu patrol and am thinking of mounting a reverse light at the back and driving lights up front. What have you guys used to get the wires threw the roof, is there something on the market i can buy.

Has anyone looked into or done any mods to a low mount winch. I was hoping someone on the forum may have made a bigger drum or modified the pins at the back of the winch that break off if the cable spools to one side. Any pics or ideas would be great.

Hi guys i have a mate with a hilux with 31" jungle trekers and is keen to put a arb air locker in but is unsure weather to put front or rear, what have you guys done first or what do you think he should do

The early 80 series came out with 15inch rims then they got brake upgrade and went to 16's, I have heard of people grinding a bit off the brake calaper cos it only just hits but its not recomended

do 80 series have free wheeling hubs standard or is this a mod to be done

i got one of the fitter and turners at work to do mine only had to pay for the pipe $50 so if you know of anyone who is handy on a lathe and can weld thats the go

thinking of buying a gps what are your thoughts on the navman pin 570, i have heard you can download ozy explorer onto this one and use it off road aswell as highway navigation. are there beter gps's on the market if so what would be the pick of them for under $1000

whos a good 4x4 wrecker to dill with in and around melbourne im in south west victoria and chaseing some 80 series diffs complete without pay fortune for them, going to put them under my 40

I am tinking of putting them under my 40 so would like a pair depending on the dollars

Can anyone tell me how much i would expect to pay for a pair of front and rear 80 series diffs or for a writen off 80 Landcruiser
