which sikflex product for sealing beads?

So I've got an old set of tsl's which have been sikaflexed at some stage to the rims. 3 out of 5 were leaking so I've broken the beads and given them a good clean with a wire brush, and got all the mud off. Now I'm ready to re- sikaflex the beads. Now I've read a lot of the threads mentioning ...

Re: RUF and Hi-Steer?

A picture tells a thousand words, but I reckon 94lux is on the money. You need to remount your box further forward. Or you could move your diff back if you dont need the extra firewall clearance from the ruf.

Re: Flat pitman arm or drop

Ive used the drop pitman on mine and sas'ed 4runners ive done. Why do you guys recommend the flat arm?I think the dropped arm clears the chassis alot better. I guess it depends on where your steering box is mounted but ive found if using the standard mounting points on 4runners to use the dropped ...

Re: Air Lockers from the US/Europe?

you can get them out of china if you just want cheap as posiable they are $470 per kit it includes 1x locker centre ,switches ,compresser, air lines but the freight would be about $220 per diff but you have the option of sending it sea frieght if you wanna wait 8 weeks but it will be about $80 all ...

Re: EASY HILUX FULL FLOATER DISC REAR.

$669 bux  there is defs a cheaper way mate Not that I know of if you want/need the pumpkin centred. If there is please share, I am keen to know. Get a prado rear diff and you can even bolt in your hilux centre. Adds width, disk brakes and still has the drum handbrake setup inside the disc.

Re: LN106 Rear Brake Disc Conversion (Same as LCII Brakes?)

Another option is a prado diff. Not quite bolt on but allows you to use the standard centre from the lux, adds a fair bit of width too. It uses the drum handbrake setup inside the disc which is easily modded to use the standard handbrake cable. Having said all that, I haven't done the install yet ...

It will be a 5 stud (same as ford stud pattern), unless it's from a import 4wd hiace, they are 6 stud like a hilux.

I've pretty much just done exactly what you wanna do. LWB vitara, cut guards like you did, roughly 50mm bumpstop extensions on the rear, 30mm spacer on the rear spring and 15mm spacer on the front springs (not that they are actually necessary but I wanted a little lift for the time being), and ...

Well we had a pretty average weekend. I braced the long arm with 6mm plate and made a new short one from 6mm also. Has been a reliable setup so far :) Of course to do this it will raise the transfer up a few inches and unless you have a BL you'll have to do some major cutting  http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/6372 ...

I filled it up again today. It took 111 litres this time. I'm averaging out at 14.4l/100km (1/2 freeway, 1/2 city driving) and I'm quite happy with it atm :)

EDIT
Also how do these engines go with gas? Just thinking it might be a worthwhile conversion at the moment...

fuel tanks capacity and consumption of v6 4runner. LPG?

I've just purchased a 91 3.0 V6 4runner and it has a long range tank. I'm hoping to be able to tow my zook with this to comps and it's my new daily driver. I wanna know what the capacity of the stock tank is and what it is with the long range one under there too. I filled up what I thought was all ...
