Ive used a hair dtyer to warm up the glue while I gingerly use a razor blade to lift stubborn stickers
take your time with the razor as you can get layers of paint off if your impatient
Yeah the $2 degreaser and a rag removes the sticky glue that is lefty behind

CA18zook, if you were to make a decent strong tank at a reasonable price, that tucked up well (inside the chassis rails) for a Seirra. possibly even with a larger volume for those who wish or have space due to BL. I reckon there might be more than a few on here interested.... I too am ...

Maybe lower the transfer case and the gearbox so all drive shafts are aligned better and share the load

Do you have the ticking sound when the car is stationary or only when you are moving?
It could be bad fuel.
If you get the clicking only when moving it could be something, like a stone, in a tyre or hub caps.

I'd like to be able to take the soft top on or off and still be able to use the roof racks  . I was ...

I read somewhere about a guy that made his roll bar into his air tank too. After building it he coated the inside with galvanised paint (to reduce rust etc.) He poured in a can of Galv paint and rolled it around until the inside was covered.

Here's a couple more for ya  One of the best hand degreasers in the bush is clay type dirt and H20. Add dirt, water and rub your greasy hands together. Rinse the clay off and it takes the majority of the grease away with it. :) Remove the inside lining from the Sierra rear door and attach a ...

CanberraMav, The 2' body lift kit included 2' RHS welded onto the chasis in the usual places, plus solid aluminium blocks used (bolted in) at each corner. I should have it all unbolted and cut out tonight. To my surprise several of the RHS welds were not sound at all. Ive had to lower the rock ...

Great idea on the touch lights, I'm going to buy some tomorrow for under the bonnet and in the back of the zook for passenger lights. Revolve at the local tip is another good money saver, I grabbed a set of seats for the back of the zook for $20. and they're not zook ones, so they're a nice cloth ...

Thanks peoples,
very useful information there.
Though I'm not planning on an extra tyre, and probably just 10litre jerry's with one water, and one fuel. And a sac of some sort, like a Michelle'ssacs bag for dirty snatch straps from rescuing Toyotas and Nissans.
Cheers.
