I understand where you are coming from but keep in mind that your truck (unless modified by the use of manual front hubs.) spins the front diff constantly even if 4wd has not been selected. however the older 80's models didnt have this problem as no center diff was installed. Fist off, I applaude anyone trying to get more lift out of their IFS suspension. currently dont have the money for higher leaf springs and I tried the extended shackle thing and bent the rear of the leafs when the shackles inverted.

WHY? :? whats the point if the front is still IFS? i lifted the rear in mine and drove around for a few hours before lifting the front and it felt horrible :x how much lift would you gain from a springover in the rear? 4-5 inches? and then you could get 3 in the front at best? it still fould feel ...
