I use to have wagon GQ with the 4.2 carby petrol as well. I gave up trying to use the words economy and carby in the same sentence. I could only get about 300-350k's out of a 100L tank running 33's. I ended up selling it. Wish i had have kept it now and whacked in a V8 instead.

I believe they are a load of crap. I got one on a jeep i had and it leaked at full lock. I got told by the supplier that i was supposed to adjust my steering stops to suit the new damper which would stop it leaking. What a crock of $hit. The damper should have been made to suit the vehicle it was ...

I have done something very similar twice to a set of IPF's. They were mounted on to the front of an ARB bar. In both cases it bent the mounting points on the bar without doing any damage to the lights. I thought that was pretty impressive as the mounting points were the standard steel tabs on a ...

Not 100% sure but once the steering had reached its stops wouldnt the ram keep pulling or pushing and break the stops off if you kept turning.

What do you want to use the vehicle for? Not sure it would be worth spending so much money on shocks just for a 2" lift. I will try and find out if it can be done for you though.

What vehicles would you run that have solid axles and coils front and back that run naturally aspirated carby motors? Or would you open it up to any engine type?

Also high mounts are better suited to synthetic rope. The drum on a low mount can get too hot causing the rope to fail. You can fit more rope on a highmount than a lowmount as well.

It doesnt look like people will be happy untill there is a class that is just for bog stock vehicles. With no lift, no lockers and no mods allowed at all. Just so they dont have to spend any money to compete. I would laugh if i came to watch this as these vehicles would do so much damage to ...

I think its a great idea. Even though i wont qualify with the current modification limits i think it will be good for getting people into the sport. From there they will have a lot of fun and decide if they want to stay at that level or go up classes with more mods allowed. The cage will definately ...

Have to say i agree with al the people on here saying that 9" coils is too high unless you never plan on driving it fast offroad. By fast i mean 100 odd k's an hour not 30. I also wouldnt want to see that thing on the road either as it will just attract the cops attention which is bad for everyone ...

There are a few shocks out there that can handle running under a patrol offroad at high speed without having to go to a dual setup. You just need to be willing to spend the money to buy them.
