Spoke to 4WD1 today and they told me the Tough Dogs are only stock length + 40mm Weld on bit on the top. + they are apparently just a re-badged Gabriel strut. I was advised to stay with the OME's . You can modify the switch wiring to enable the front to work dependently of the rear. I have found this very useful in some tricky situations.
