i am planning on fitting a Procharger supercharger with a large intercooler in the grill section, they have one which they fit to the cobra v8s, it provides about 60% addtional more hp at 9 psi ... a RR should be able to run 10 psi max if all is running good .. the alloy heads can take more as they ...

what is the difference in the internal diameter of the throttle inlet between a 3.5 and a 3.9 ltr engine ... if there is a difference and you ues a 3.5 on a 3.9 will it reduce the total power and effiecncy of the engine and if known by how much

well i was 85% sure that michael would know and he didnt let me down.. lol... so what are the draw backs with them .. i have not see a lot of negative info on them ..... they seem to be used in industrial and locomotive mainly and somewhere i read that a couple of SUV's in the states had them cheers ...

anyone seen a 2 stroke diesel engine .. they are made with a supercharger of turbos and generate a heap more horse power then either petrol or diesel.. could be something to look out for

when you say you can tune it without an o2 sensor it is not like tuning a carb ... your mixutre will be all over the place .. as you accel up a hill it can go from rich to lean to rich 20 times .. and to set the best cruse mixture you really do need a 02 sensor, especially if you are setting your ...

i payed 1600 for the haltech yeah .. i dont really care i wanted what i wanted .... back then i would probably do more damage then good with a megasquirt looks like a hot wheels logo from when i was a kid with the match box cars .. lol... and yeah it is a bling mobile ... but no fluffy dice ...

Do not run a Roots type blower .. they run the rear cylinders way to lean due to the plate they sit on, if your serious about supercharging run a PRO charger from the us and set up a decent intercooler, if your going to do all that you will want to re map your fuel and ignition to take full ...

I know who the distributor for RPI in Australia is ... i got a 3.9 with 4.6 heads of them and it is smooth and quiet .. no holden lifter problems and everything fits together peoperly ... just running it in now ... the bottom end was 3600 and the heads were 900 a pair, etc .. if you want info email ...

sounds to me like the vaccume advance is crap ... poor fuel consumption can be a result of bad timing ... as you said it is ... rich mixture and no advance ... check it first ... after plaing with my fuel and ignition maps it is easy to see what effect they have on the vehicles performance ... for ...

he he ... dont wanna put a spanner in the works but for those who are really serious with their fuel and ignition set ups, you cant go past a Haltech e6x and a wide band o2 sensor .. got one on mine and they are brillant, the haltech even controls the thermo fans, as well as the supercharger and ...

is the heat treatment any better then the cryogenic freezing treatment they use on the drag engines....
i read an article in a engine building mag on it and wondered if it had any benifit for us ?

hmmmm ... will make it mud proof .. i assume ur refering to the electrics ... i really like the first gear ratio of 4. something to 1 compared to our 2.something to 1 .. and 6th gear is .7 where we are .8 and paddle shift gear change ... they are lighter and consume less power as it travels from the ...

hey Rangin Rover, why do you use the 70 deg thermostate ... seems rather cold, what is your fuel comsumption like ... for the new guy i repowered my 87 highline with a new high compression 3.9 with 4.6 heads and a haltech e6x... and a whole hose to other bits ... but i am interested in running it ...
