Has anyone had success with the PWR replacement radiator, i believe it's alloy and 3 core. It should help, should hold 33% more coolant. Mine's gotten warm on one occasion, 38 degrees on Stockton, changed the thermostat and been fine since. Still upwards of a $1000.00 fix on what seems to be an Niss...

Ok, this could do it. At the moment the lights are earthed at the bullbar, i'll try taking the earth back to the battery from the lights. Would it make a difference if i was to use the second battery for the power as only the fridge runs off this, perhaps a separate circut might also help??? Thanks ...

Electrical Question

I've recently mounted some Hella 4000's to the truck. Its a 2001 GU 4.2 Turbo diesel wagon. I've checked the relay connections, and the earth points, and all seem fine, however when the high beam (and the spotties) goes, on the fuel gauge drops. Switch the buggers off and the gauge comes back up, tri...

Front End questions

Hey all, i have a couple of quick questions regarding my 92 RR Classic. Firstly, i've noticed that my front axle looks like it needs to be rotated more (down on the drive shaft end), the vehicle is lifted 2". I've read here on this forum that the best way to do this on the RR is to machine the swive...

Just reading the last reply, what can be gained by using the lt230, over the viscus coupling?
Is it just a straight swap?

Thanks

A timely topic, looking at extractors for a '92 rangie with the 3.9, trying to wring every ounce of power out of the old girl.

What about performance, is it worth wrapping the extractors in that heat shield tape.

Any ideas

I think I take offence to being labled "an old fanatic", i'm 30 and have one, got my first one when i was 17, sure they have a few drive train issues, a few electrical issues (lucas), but they still have more class than a swb patrol, enjoy it for what it is. An old 4x4 with a few teathing issues tha...

Castor Correction Bushes

Hi, i've lifted my Rangie 3", and the front diff angle has changed more than i expected, any ideas as to correction bushes in Sydney. I've spoken to a few suppliers and no one carries a rangie bush set. Interested in an "on car adjustable one" from Snake Racing, but as yet no time frame as to when i...

Steering Box for '92 Classic

Afternoon all, My Rangie seems really vague in the steering whilst in motion, there seems to be some free play when the wheel is centred. I have replaced the steering dampers, and all the bushes seem in tact, wheel alignment has also been done, still vague. I'd like to put a new box in, been quoted ...

OK, do the airbags hamper articulation in the bush, or do you get similar travel to the standard spring.
Also, the lifting issue, i'd like the room for 33" MTR's could i keep the bags at full height, and settle for the body lift only? Would this give me the clearance needed?

Thanks

Electronic Air Suspension

Hi, i've been watchin this forum the last few months and starting to take an interest in Rangies all over again. Looking at buying a 93 model Vogue with the whole shebang, including the "EAS", has anyone had any trouble with the electronics that control the system, as i believe very costly to fix. A...
