Tonight Shane Harris was still replacing the rear diff and axles under his vehicle, after Alex Driscoll returned with the complete rear end out of mate’s vehicle that had been left at Shane’s place. Moral never leave your vehicle at a mates place. The mates vehicle is still on Shane's hoist, just so...

I braced my panhard bracket as well as what was mentioned above. Pretty solid.
It's just notched into the other chassis rail.

Re: Painting Aluminium
I have painted aircraft (blackhawks) and the process is pretty simple, I am not sure where you get the gear from now though.
1. Wash the area
2. Acid wash called Deoxidine.
3. Prep for primer called Allodine.
4. Primer. Standard.
5. Paint. Standard.
Any more questions please ask.

Re: Gq swb wheelbase extension.
Roger at Townsville Offroad Centre does em. He does a fantastic job, relocates the diff 10' then does all the body work to suit, ie: cuts a lwb door down and grafts it in, if you didn't know any better it would look stock. Builds a new fuel tank and fits it up, from memory it came in about 120 odd l...

Navi required for XI-RFC September.
Hi All, I am looking forward to competing in the XI-RFC in september at Cruiser Park. At this stage, I am all ready except for having a reliable, experienced Navigator. Competition experience is required, either as a navi, or having previously driven. I would like to offer a ride for the event, with...

Thanks Dave,
To say that I am looking forward to it would be an understatement!
But I do have a couple of months to pick shane's brain over the event, he won't mind, knowing he likes talking about it as much as actually participating. Lol.
Cheers

Re: EFI 5.0L into GQ patrol
I had a turbo TD42 which made 85kw atw, and that was pretty well set up perfectly, running a conservative 12psi. My winch truck has a warm 304efi in it and although it is not as torquey, the 155kw atw on 33's is pretty nice As for more power? I will be pulling it and putting a 355 stroker in it with...

Pardon my sceptisism but no-one will post pic's through fear of the repercussions from identification of one's vehicle.
Good luck but.

Hi, Newman Ave Garage at woolloongabba. Paul did a fair bit of work on one particular comp rig that had diesel injection problems and got really good results. Good workshop and very proffesional in what they do. They build street and race engines but have a guy that knows diesels inside out. You won...

stainless snorkel elbows?
Hey all,
What sort of shop stocks the big 3'' black elbows for the stainless snorkels?
I have everything else but can't, for the life of me, find someone that stocks the elbows?
Any help would be appreciated. In Townsville would be even better still.
Regards Dave.
