It's not gona fit.
series III,staring 10/01 has a different grill.
ARB had to modify their bullbars to fit series III.
They said it would fit but it would badly rub grill on a bar

How do you find your Xterrain comparing to MT/R's.
I'm on my second set of MT/R's and am considaring Xterrains next time around.
I am happy with MT/R's,but have heard that Xterrains perform as good as MT/R's on all type of terrain and last longer.

My choice is MT/R STT would most likely last longer(haven't tried) MT/R handles wet bitumen lot better than BFG AT (so I asume MT as well) MT/R doesn't loose chunks easily. Some people say that XTerrain is possibly better than MT/R on wear, mud and as good on wet bitumen. That seems like prety good ...

Even if mine never blows up ('05 GU4), I still wish I got the 4.2. 3.0 is too weak at low revs, which sucks when you're trying to crawl up steep rock steps nice and easy like I'm hoping lower low range gears will help My factory clutch went at 20,000 - I don't even tow anything. GUIII - October 2001 onwards.

That is when they started the "Series III" - I only assume they upgraded the 3.0 as part of that release.
I thought series III was more late 2002 early 2003

35's are bigger and heavier than 285/75/16(33s) so I wouldn't hold my breath.

305/70/16 is same rolling diameter as 285/75/16,but 20 mm wider.
My BIL has MT Baja Claws in that size(305/70/16)
