If you have a welder or access to one run 2 or 3 beads around the inside of the outer race. Once it cools down it should shrink enough to slide it out. You may even be able to get the slide hammer in behind the beads of weld to give you something to pull against. Hope that makes sense X 2...they ...

Are you using the right seal? I like the idea of 2 x seals. What about the bearing in the stub axle is that OK? Too much steering lock possibly? I use a socket & extension to fit the seal, pin punches could fark the seal if not careful. IF it is bent Gibson driveshafts at Edgeworth will look after ...

Chris, This can be done in the car...Remove steering arm from input shaft on the steering box (mark it so it can be put back onto the same spline) , undo the 4 x retaining bolts (torx bit, I think an 8mm spanner fits), end cap can now be moved out UNTIL you see the O-Ring, remove and replace ...

Hammer and screwdriver, but don't damage the diff, hit the screwdriver into the outer edge of the seal, they come out pretty easy. Buy the seal from a bearing place instead of genuine, about $10-15.. Use a socket slightly smaller in diameter to the seal on knock it in square...

You might need to put a speedy sleeve on the pinion, the old seal would have left a groove, when you put the new seal in it is probably not quite in the same spot as the old one, there pretty easy to install...also check your diff breather is not blocked
