Re: fibreglass cannopy???????????

whereabouts you located? there's a place in sydney that specialises in a whole lot of canopies. not sure if they have any zook ones though but worth a holla i'd say. had a flexiglass challenge one on my zook before and it was awesome. certainly adds a sense of security when parking in dodgey places ...

would definitely need to get it engineered. although in nsw it is registered as a "ute" by the rta...go figure.

awesome project for a 13 year old by the way! he must be real happy!

Re: window tint removing

careful on the rear demist! last thing you'd want to do is scratch it up with the wool or razor!

i'd prefer to use some hot steam. oil would work on the sticky stuff but i'd prefer metho as its easier to clean up afterwards with a wet towel

they're ok on fuel on factory road tyres. once you put the bigger tyres on or all terrains/mud tyres, thats when it starts suffering a little i reckon...

something light and paper thin, such as the swift/charade would probably be the way to go unfortunately...

i'd get it checked by a mechanic in case, if he were real interested in the vitara. keeping in mind that when oil and coolant mixes it turns milky white...it could be a minor crack or gasket leak that has gone undetected to date. something may go wrong after that 10minutes... i think inspection of ...

Extractors / Headers for Vitara

Hi Folks, Potentially looking at a full exhaust system for my G16B Vitara. Has anyone had any experience with a certain brand system, or even for headers/extractors? I see a set made by "maxheaders" near Wollongong, up on Ebay, and delivered price seems reasonable. No dyno figures though, so ...

Vitara Engine Mounts

Hi all,

My engine mounts I believe are worn as there some vibration in the cabin at idle (ok when accelerating). Wondering if anyone would be able to recommend some decent mounts, other than stock? or would stock be preferable.

any idea of costs for parts and labour for the mounts?

thank you

dude, not sure about qld laws, but may be the same as nsw...watch about for the number plate a the back, you may get done for the towball "obscuring" the plate. i got done for that recently, $318 fine and 3 points and defect notice. take care http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o221/want33s/Image013 ...
