Having no tray and a stuffed motor. If I keep the gearbox and rear diff center. its basically a cab on a chassis with a front diff and rear diff housing. How much is that really worth?
It's a good cab. No damage. Only one tiny spot of surface rust. I've seen the cabs sell for 2 grand.

I think it may have been an option. Any of the 75s I know off that had dual tanks had the second ones gauge and switch there.

Re: how do you decide to sell a project?
Shorty I have a daily now. So I'm in no rush to sell or buy. I got a couple guys at work who may have some one they know interested in the 75. It only needs rings and rear main to run right again.

Re: 4.2l petty vs water
That's why I've been told to run straight gas. Use a large gas tank and a subbi. Or i was thinking two large tanks. I eventually plan to dual cab ute it so room wont be as much of an issue. I have a mate that was suggesting a wax product that is for warerproofing dizzys. So it seams to me there is a ...

I did ...

Or get a single phase motor put on top. Or use a grinder. Once you do enough notches with one. It becomes easier. And you get.really good at judging the angle

I always go with a minimum of one other fourby. I will always carry a turfer. Even when i get a powered winch. I'm thinking of getting a tigerz winch until I replace it with a hydrailic one. Im not thinking about a front locker for a little while yet. I gotta lern the rear one first

Re: changing oils
I buy both engine and gear oil from quality performance lubes. I buy in 20 litre drums. The hydraulic workshop I used to work for used them. I like their oil. And it comes in cheaper than the big brands. And is good. I use their 15w40 for engine and 90w gear oil for the rest. Had no issues in over ...

Re: 2F TO A 2H ?
My 2h is a slug and uses a bucket load of fuel. I would say its got to be the most un economical 2h I have heard of. Go a 12ht if you can. Better on fuel. Better motor. You won't regret that. And its the same amount of work as a 2h to drop on. I should really stop telling people to put 12hts into ...

Re: so i went to a 33 inch tire and now i got problems
there should be a screw on your swivel hub that will stop it turning in far enough to scrub, but it increases your turning circle as it takes full lock away from you. i know a mate had it on his hilux, as he told me he adjusted it as his tyre was hitting his leafs, but i havent had a problem so i ...

i would tend to think it was the loose bolts that caused the problem, as the body would have been able to move against the body blocks with force, like when of road or even just a harsh enough bum in the road
