Sudso,
if you've removed the throttle body, fuel rails, removed the four nuts on each corner low down at the foot of the manifold and the four long bolts from the top it should lift off.
The only thing that got me initially was not disconnecting the fuel lines each side off the fuel rail which ...

Tyre size options 6.5 x 15 Frontera rims?
I've had the OME 2" lift for over a year now and have been waiting for my current set of tyres to wear before committing to new rubber. The time is nearing and I'm checking my options. The standard tyre is a 235/75R15 on the alloy 6.5x15 rims.

Hi Jason,
I have a 2000 UES S and thought I'd do the same. Even aquired a set from a wrecker, but gave up. Your right. They require captive nuts that are built into the roof lining on the SE only. Not only that, I was told that there is additional reinforcement for the mounts as well built in. So ...

Leaky Intake Manifold Gaskets?
I read on US sites that it is common for the 3.2L V6 98 onwards to develop leaky inlet manifold gaskets that cause rough idle, stalling and some irratic behaviour. To some extent I'm suffering similar occurences. Anyone here found the need to replace the gaskets?

Frontera ARB OME 2" Lifted
Guys,
as mentioned on a previous thread, I have gone the 2" lift offered by ARB using their Old Man Emu kit. Package cost $990 fitted and comes with a 2 year warranty. 4 x gas shocks, 2 x new heavy duty progressive rear coils, torsion bar adjustment. Vast improvement on ride, handling and ...

I guess the Frontera uses a similar engine and manual tranmission so perhaps what I've done may apply. Just FYI otherwise, but I'm using Shell Helix Ultra full synthetic (5w-40) in Engine, Gearbox and Transfer case. I can see no reason from my research and discussions with Holden as to why I can't ...

Thanks for the feedback David. Can we stop the clunk? I'm surprised that the floor pan mount can move as the bolt locks the centre tube to the body firmly. The two rubber blocks hold the chassis. I've tightened the bolt nut as hard as possible but still get the clunk. It defies logic. Do I modify ...

Found the problem, but am puzzled why Its the body mount that's situated directly under your left foot on the passanger side. It was the only thing that would produce the direct clunk under that spot. It wasn't loose, but I've pulled the bolt out and the bottom rubber block out and the clunk noise ...

Frontera Clunking Noise
Hi all,
Some noises are easy to find, others impossible so here i am asking if anyone has experienced the same to give me some direction.
Straight driving over bumps - no noise. Going into corners more right than left I get a solid knocking sound from the left front. Shocks OK. All nuts and ...

Frontera Wgn Wiper Problem
Guys,
for a while now I've had a problem with my intermittant wiper stopping half way. Works fine on normal and fast, but not on intermittant. Also when I turn them off from intermittant they won't return to the down position.
In the Isuzu forum links I posted I have seen this as a known ...

Greg,
this came out of all those forums above. No Frontera photos, but certain Fords in the US also suffer this known problem and these photos show fairly closely what to expect.
