Sudso, if you've removed the throttle body, fuel rails, removed the four nuts on each corner low down at the foot of the manifold and the four long bolts from the top it should lift off. The only thing that got me initially was not disconnecting the fuel lines each side off the fuel rail which ...

Beeno, I steer well clear of Holden when sourcing parts. I purchased the Timing belt, Belt Tensioner and Belt Idler as a kit off US ebay and payed using Paypal. Even with exchange and USPS Express postage it came to $205 aus. Say no more, and the parts were top notch. Visit ebay or go online and ...

Hi, not sure if the 97 3.2L in the Jack is identical to the one in my 2000 Frontera, but I have just done the 160k service myself and replaced timing belts, pulleys and water pump and ventured further by removing the intake plenum and stripped it down for an internal clean and had the injectors ...

Tyre size options 6.5 x 15 Frontera rims?

I've had the OME 2" lift for over a year now and have been waiting for my current set of tyres to wear before committing to new rubber. The time is nearing and I'm checking my options. The standard tyre is a 235/75R15 on the alloy 6.5x15 rims. I want an AT tread and am looking at going up to 255 ...

Hi Jason, I have a 2000 UES S and thought I'd do the same. Even aquired a set from a wrecker, but gave up. Your right. They require captive nuts that are built into the roof lining on the SE only. Not only that, I was told that there is additional reinforcement for the mounts as well built in. So ...

Leaky Intake Manifold Gaskets?

I read on US sites that it is common for the 3.2L V6 98 onwards to develop leaky inlet manifold gaskets that cause rough idle, stalling and some irratic behaviour. To some extent I'm suffering similar occurences. Anyone here found the need to replace the gaskets?

Yep that's the next step. 265x70R16 seems to be the obvious way to go. Anyone like to comment on suitability :?: How would that size go for clearance given the lift, and would it effect gearing :?: Photos :?:

Thanks for the feedback David. Can we stop the clunk? I'm surprised that the floor pan mount can move as the bolt locks the centre tube to the body firmly. The two rubber blocks hold the chassis. Found the problem, but am puzzled why Its the body mount that's situated directly under your left foot on the passanger side. Hi Greg, fairly straight forward. I firstly jacked up one rear wheel to allow me to rotate the drive shaft. You get to see how much slip you have in your LSD this way, but it will turn. Then under you go: 1. Mark with chalk the position of the front universal to the gearbox output coupling as a ...

Also for Frontera wagon owners 98-00 models who notice a clunk on driving off from start or sometimes on stopping item 9 will be of interest. Repacking the slip joint on the drive shaft fixes this. Out with the grease this weekend!
