god i hope not. my back is stuffed and i really dont want to be taking springs out. How can i tell without taking them out of the car?

have a rather loud and pronounced noise in the front end of my fj62 wagon. cannot detect on the highway almost at all but the slower the speed the louder and closer together the 'krunk' noises occur. 60 series petrol running rough!!!
I have a 85 62 series cruiser with the 3F petrol in it. Very had to start at the moment and then runs like an absolute dog until it warms up. Has extractors so no hot air re-circ any more.
Any ideas anyone or maybe any clues to restore carb to factory settings!!!!
