Out with the old .... and in with the new

After 10 Glorious years of ownership I am finally letting go of my '92 NH Shorty Jabber ........but don't despair I didn't jump the fence - I stuck with Mitsubishi and splashed out on an ML triton, 2008 model 3.2ltr turbo diesel.

For anyone that is interested in a highly capable weekender it's up ...

Head down to Toyota and get a tube of the replacement oil for the fan coupling - remove the fan from the vehicle, dismantle the coupling and get rid of all the old fluid inside - replace with the new tube of oil and reassemble and refit.

I chases an overheating problem for ages and this solved it ...

It's kinda like a little lurve triangle we had going :D

If you can get your hands on another case it makes a world of ...

I second the starter motor not releasing quick enough - remove it and give it a clean; it's not a hard job.

Have a late 92 model tj auto (low k's) - have to say it is mighty nice to drive.

Had a drive a couple of years back of a manual and was not impressed at all ( that's not to say it was a good example).

For onroad driving I really enjoy the auto - for offroad (not in the same car - non jeep ) I ...

I have a similar problem with the oil pressure switch/guage not working.

I am 100% certain that I have good pressure and nothing is internally wrong as the motor is still fresh after being rebuilt.

When starting the car the oil pressure guage in the dash comes to about half way then after a couple ...

Bit of a rehash of an old thread here - but has anyone have any luck finding an off the shelf spacer since this post was first created?

Was looking at mine today to track down an oil leak which was coming from the output shaft seal and noticed how far out the prop shaft is sitting (approx 50mm). I ...

Would have been a nice addition but in the end would still require more money to be spent to get the whole setup operational. As it stands the motor in my car is worth more to me than the car itself if I was to sell it (after two rebuilds and ...

Check the main shaft of your idler arm is not bent.

Mine had the same problem with the steering wheel being out of whack all the time - the idler arm assembly was the cause.
