I own a D2 V8 other then fuel running cost its great it an auto and I wouldn’t go manual besides with the D2 it like having 4 speed manual when in low range due to manual button but if its daily driver go gas I going to

yes you can lift a disco a little more then 70mm sorry lokka your wrong there mate every one advised me that anything over 70mm will vibrate etc etc but no mine is lifted 130mm plus and no vibrations I have steering casters fitted and that's made the steering surprisingly quite good

they help flex like no tomorrow but I agree with Steve there

there pretty scary I have those joints in my shocks and the front in particular bang every time I turn a corner it sounds bad real bad

At the moment is all up travel 8 inch up 4 inch down its not the spring rate Slunnie here has much harder springs there some where and some how binding that ive yet to clear it could be ACE links that need looking
into

Here is my D2 99 its a V8

it has a 5 inch lift which was to be 4 however Dobinson got that wrong the spring rates are 280 rear 220 front
Bilstein 7100 shocks 12 inch traveling front and rear
and a whole heap of Rovertym gear like lower shock mount cross member spacers Ive retained the springs ...

I have a number of thing from Rovertym on my D2 smaller things like lower front mounts cranked watt likange and the like

Steve is great to deal with alround good gear I reckon

If they fit the D2 Id be intrested in the 75mm ones

What rate are your coils,, looks like its having difficulties articulating, your super lift will be useless if it doesn't flex.

I Agree with you all the way it more then useless if it doesn't flex and defeats the purpose the whole lift

the rate of the front are 220 rear are 280 which are softer ...
