it really depends what your needs/requirements are?
do ya need a wagon, ute, just something for 4x4ing?
close to home? long distance?
i think you need to give more details.....
Would be a daily driven car with some offroad and possibly beach driving.
Does anyone know of any landcruisers/patrols ...

Looking for a 4x4
Hey all
I want to get a 4wd however budget is a major restraint.... I also want to be able to get one under $3000. Does anyone have some suggestions as to what cars to look for? I am living in Brisbane and am wondering what the regulations are with fixing up cars that aren’t road worthy/written off ...

Something that i didnt see an answer to here... Is there a chance it was all ready overheating before you installed the larger tires and now that you have installed the larger 33" tires that it has made the problem worse? When you installed the new tires did you change any other features on the car?

So you dont need 33" tyres, they are a wank factor, I lso have 33" (measure 32.4") tyres on my landcruiser. Except, my 33" tyres comply with the +15mm law in QLD, and i didnt have to lift my car to fit them either.

I have an Auto Jeep ZJ Grand Cherokee on petrol which is pretty close to stock (mods coming soon). I have got to say that it feels like it goes every bit as slow in 1st low as a Patrol petrol manual.
It had it's 1st off road venture last week and I was quite impressed with the Jeep.

the fuel control relay is bolted beside the glovebox. open the glovebox, and look inside to the left, there is two 8mm bolts, undo them and a relay falls down, on the top is has "fuel control relay" stamped on it.
that controls the EDIC motor, its a steel relay box, you have to unfold about 7 or 8 ...
