Re: gt2876 EGT's vs gt2860rs EGT's
Just fitted a 2876 with a custom .60 ar compressor housing. EGts @ 100 kph cruise are around 300 plus. Max egts dropped right down, only 450 or so now, compared to 550 before on OEM turbo. So room to move with more fuel. Hardly any lag compared to OEM, just better all round and really goes hard over ...

Re: Ride pro Rox shocks
Had a set on my ute for approx 2 years. One lost its shroud but was replaced under warranty. otherwise they have been very good. Valving seem to suit to ute ok, maybe a bit soft when loaded with camper on back. Flex is good unloaded.

sounds good mate hows the whistle?
VERY noticeable (no muffler) you can hear in wind up on starting as well..
No whine inside like OEM just sounds like its going to suck the snorkel inside out! Drives completely different to std. Very little throttle needed on cruise.

Re: TD42 Turbo GT2860rs or T3/T4 hybrid?
I just fitted a 2876 with a .64 and custom .60 AR Compressor end, very happy with it ! Intending to run 15, its at 17.5 at the moment. That was the difference between bleed valve on original Turbo set up and this one!

Winch mounting frame ?
I have a TJM bar and am about to fit a winch. It appears I need a frame to mount the winch to the chassis rails and not the bar. The bar is compatible (has cut outs etc) but requires this "frame" any idea what one looks like ? $350 to buy, possibly I could build something. Any pics would be ...

GU LSD stuffed or not ?
tested my LSD today, (after reading some posts) jacked one wheel up. I could turn it easily by hand ,, . I cranked it up and gave it some light brake in forward and reverse. After it warmed up it seemed to start working. I could no longer turn it by hand. I then changed the oil from LSD 90 Castrol ...

732mm shocks that Ridepro have are not suitable for a 3" lift. Your coils may or may not be snug when you are articulating but if you hit a big bump or put it in on the hoist a 3" lift coil will fall out.
The only way a 732mm shock will suit a 3" lift properly is with the 3" lift flexy coils that ...

Re: sub tank warning light
hey mate,
just went through the wiring diagram in my gu service manual, found the fuse linked to the sub tank and pulled that fuse out of my fuse panel, the sub warning lamp came on but the light in the sub switch stayed on.
I'm guessing you have a blown bulb in the switch and more than likely a ...
