GQ rust

Hi, My old GQ is starting to show some signs of age and rust is starting to grow in unhappy places. I took it to some panel beaters for some quotes and $4800.00 seems like a lot of money on an 88 model car. The rest of the car is perfect for me, 4.2 diesel, arb front and rear lockers, lifted, good ...

2007 ns pajero

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me/ share their experience on either body lift or suspention lift. A mate has recently purchased a turbo diesel and wants some more height. He is only looking at 2 inches to maintain insurance.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

fuel problem

Hi, I was wondering if any one has had this problem. I have just changed the fuel filter on my Diesel 4.2 GQ patrol. When I went to restart the blessed thing it was surging as if not enough fuel. It would run at 1200 revs for say 3 minutes and then drop down to 600 revs for a few minutes and back ...

Where do you get em.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I might find the tie down bolts of older style roof racks. (roof chanel mounted) I need to replace a couple of mine. Also I read somewhere that to tie down the other spare wheel to the roof rack, a " J Bolt " was a good idea. Havent seen those anywhere ...

The roof rack was in St Kilda. I think it measured 1390 apart. Is that GU?

roof racks

Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help me about roof rack sizes for GQ patrols. I bought one on evilbay and when I went to pick it up it was about 20 mm too wide. The owner assures me that it came from his 89 model and mine is a 88 model. I am having some trouble thinking that gq's may be several ...
