I've got a 60l evacool ($350) and came down the Darling River Rd thru Tilpa about a month ago when it was 45 degrees. Kept ice on ave of two days but it kept the beers cold. Opened it often and it was it the back of my ute.

Ironman - Dont bother saged quickly wasn't that good at flexing and rode like a brick.


Tend to agree, springs have memory and have sagged on one side, harsh ride empty, ok when loaded. Tend to carry a lot of weight in the back at times, > 1 T, then they aren't too bad.

Hate to state the obvious, but have you tried Toyota Genuine?


1st thing I did but unfortunately toyota wont sell the actuator on its own, but the will sell me the actuator, locker and diff . They say they cant be seperated.

Didnt expect much else.

Clark Rubber as for cost it depends on the thickness and width of the rubber, bought some today to make some of those inner guard flaps, 1.5mm x 200mm = $9.50/m some of the thicker stuff is up to $40/m

The was a thread on the US boards (cant remeber where) that said that the brackets that TJM supplied failed when winching, I would like to know if thats the case here or if the US brackets are different. It would be a piss off to have the bar seperate from your 4by when winching.

Does anyone have a TJM winch bar with a winch attached and if so how does the brackets hold up under load, that is the brackets with the partial welds that attach the bar to the chassis rails.

Fix the rust, grind/cut the gutters off, get a tin shop to press new ones based on the profile u give them and mig it on, fill it, paint it then add $7000 and sell it.

Might be worth your while.
