alrighty, update... I cleaned the FILTHY mud infested plugs, hopped in, key on, battery light and NOTHING else now! No ignition at all, lights are about the only other thing working... so something in ignition is gone.. Is there a fuse for this and if so which one! a=haha, as my fuse box in drivers ...

ok, that sounds pretty much spot on! Any ways to fix this permanantly so it doesn't happen again, or should i just get real good at cleaning alternators! haha

so if it needs a certificate i'd be stuffed, but if it doesnt need one, im fine?? Engineers Certificate Needed??

If i changed a 91 hilux 2.8 diesel engine over to a 3.0 diesel would i need an engineers certificate? Been told i would if it was a 2.4 originally but not if its a 2.8... Any thoughts or help guys?

yeah Izaaks safety would definitely come first, then the legal sides of it... i think a dual cab is the best option i have.

Also to try to put it the best i can, its use will be roughly:

60% Normal city driving
25% Wet, roughish paddock spotlighting
10% Very Wet, Very Rough Paddocks
5% Crazy Puddles, Mad Hills kinda shit! haha
