Its Awsome to see the family getting together for a build up, school project or not! I'm not 100 % sure on this but I think the reason for the short wires on the spotlights was to keep the connection inside the housing so it dose not get water damage? If your going to rebuild it why not build it to handle some boost later on!!

throw some dry ice in the box aswell and it might make 1 1/10 of a difference yes cold air is better fact but i recon you will get more power out of the new air filter then the claimed cold air? seriously if it was that much better dont you think every car or vehicle for that matter would come with ...

88 W/T, Tin Top, No rear seats. 30x9.5x15 on 5.5 standard rims. 1.6 vit motor, vit front brakes, 2" lift alloy bull bar, 4 spoties, larger front seats- no rear seats. sub box and stereo gear, variation of tools and stuff, half a tank of fuel. 900kg on the dot... (fuel weighs less then water so...)

Yeh if vits are the same as sierras then I will back the locating bolt behind the gear stick has snapped. dont forget about the positioning bolt that bolts in behind the gear stick. If this has also broken $6 to replace the bolt, dont be scared to pull the gear stick housing out if you cant get the bolt out in the car!.
Just make sure its in nuetral!!

Go the Vented,
My sierra needed new pads and discs,
Did some research and fount that the ventilated Vit ones fitted with the vit calipers.
Now I dont get any brake fade when in the bush or back street driving.
Plus the Zook
almost does endo's now.

First of all tighten the adjustment screw on the top, back off the nut tighten the screw then back it off ever so slightly and tighten the nut again.
