hey bud, i had a set of 36 x 12.5 pede's on my hilux, it was just a toy too. i loved em. my mate owned the car before me and he had 35 x 11.5 pede's on it. the 36 x 12.5 was a much better offroad tyre in my opinion.

with the amount of work that is involved any way you should probably just pull of the head. and that way you can inspect the valves to see if there leakin compression and just have a good look over the whole lot. you don't want to put the new cam in and find out when you go to tune it that i needs ...

Recomended oil for the TB42E?

Hey guys, I was wondering what oil you have found works best in the efi gq motor. I am currently running castrol magnatec and i am gettin a ticking noise out of the engine. Someone told me that the hydraulic lifters don't like the magnatec. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

if you have 35's on, that will be your problem. most patrols seem to work fine with 35's but some just hate it. i would suggest maybe leavin your muddies just for play and gettin some road tyres for daily driving.

Would you really stick to the older gas guzzler with less power just because it's bigger??? each to his own mate, but do you think that 2.0ltr workin it's ring off to pull the weight is going to last as long as the bigger donk. even if the bigger donk has got less power, with developments in engine ...

i don't think so mate, i've seen a couple of trucks runin shocks upside down, i think the only thing you have to worry about is the fact that the diff moves around alot more than the chassis so strength on the thin end might be an issue, but with a descent shock like rancho on a zook i don't think ...
