Except the old prados had square headlights - 'Bunderas' (local model only?) had round lights. I'm sure i've seen SWB RJ/LJ models with the square lights too, however. Yup, I've seen them too... I could be mistaken but I think Roothy's Milo has a 3BT (turbo) - not sure about that though... Mike I ...

Dunno what the reduction rate is in the auto's t-case - or whether that differs from the manuals, so was hoping someone could say if they thought they were nice n low or not... :?

As Smithie said, Bundera had the "original" Prado nose... BJ70 was my first 4WD 13 years ago - still have a soft spot for them - followed that with 2 LN65's and wished they had the 3B in them... I could be mistaken but I think Roothy's Milo has a 3BT (turbo) - not sure about that though... Mike

100 series petrol/auto - low range

I'm shopping around, looking at both 100's and Patrols. Looked at a very nice 100 series today, auto on gas. As a long time driver of manual diesels, my concern is what D1 Low is like in the petro/auto 100's? Do they tend to run away down steep inclines...I'm used to being able to walk down faster ...
