oil and air filter for triton 2.5 turbo

I read on this site some time ago that there is an alternate oil and air filter that is cheaper than asking for triton filters yet the same.

Is this injector problems?

How can this be fixed?

What about good old underfelt

TRITON deisel blowing smoke

I have a 96 triton deisel that blows blue smoke especially when cold.
Any ideas on causes or remedies.

I have been told that perhaps the gasket in the turbo may be leaking and sucking in oil.

The rims I tried were 15x7 with 10R15 desert duellers from a Nissan patrol but hit on the rear of the front wheel arch when turning.

What else can I try?

I saw your photo in an old posting.

What size rims and tyres are they?. I tried putting on 15 x 7 from a patrol but they hit the inside of the front guards.

What do I put on.

Titon overheating

My 96 triton twin cab diesel 4x4 has normal operating temperature ( about 1/2 way ) except when going up long hills. The guage rises to about 3/4.
Is this normal or is there an issue somewhere.

thanks

wide wheels for triton

I have a 96 model triton 4x4 twin cab diesel.

I have standard rims and want to put on wider steel rims and tyres. I borrowed some 15 x 7 rims fitted with desert duellers but the tyres hit the front wheel arch when on 1/2 lock.

What offset rims do I need to buy and what size tyres can I fit.
