supposedly the detroit softlocker is the best auto you can fit( you would hope so for nearly the cost of an air locker) and it no more noticeable than an lsd, unlike the lokkas or lock rites that make little noises. but as far as i am aware, if everything is installed correctly and you take some ...

The FSM shows Green With Red stripe from "speed sensor". I would like to do this also as i have a 93 auto glx but I have no idea of what ancient model cruise control I've got. I'm guessing the 10 switches in the unit are synonymous with these ones because they match my current magnetic setup ...

question for "the_quokka". do you have a copy or an image of your gas mapping? i just recently put gas injection on my 98 100 series 4.5 manual and am struggling to get 300k out of a 90l tank. the guys have changed the gas mapping several times and tuned it on the dyno. I use to get 380k on petrol ...

Alloy is far superior in cooling capabilities compared to copper/brass. Agree with your rest - got anything to justify the above? I have a 93 4.5 on injected - early days. No noticeable loss of power but have not towed heavy yet. Economy seems very good so far. Petrol is certainly unaffected. It cost more to install in both $ and time.

I had a similar problem with mine. Turned out it was simply a case of being low. The dipstick is a real pain to read correctly on mine when low because it seems to drag up oil over the grid pattern neatly even when still / switched off for a bit. So I just measured out separately 7.3-4l (with filter ...
