Big thanx for all the feed back! Am going to try getting some more length out of the third uni under the dash (cheapest option), If i'm still not happy, will look into an '86 ifs shaft. Will post the results when the job is done.

Hi-lux steering shaft after 2" body lift
I recently put a 2" body lift in my '89 hi-lux & am happy with everything except steering shaft. It only sits about 15mm into both the upper & lower uni joints. Is this enough? I know some companies make shaft extentions but they all seem to be for 3" body lifts, I don't think i'd fit one in. Any ...
