i think the yanks got 3.7s after a certain year... google knows.
i will double check now I have a maths lesson on gear ratios but pretty sure I have a set of 3.7s from my old V8 40rty....

maybe a shackle reversal would be investigating if you're going to be using all those HP. marks adapters recommends standard holden clutch in landcruiser application. When I replaced the clutch the idiots put a heavy duty one in and was useless compared to the standard... cant exlpain it though. Would therefore go standard flywheel too. Not sure what you would achieve going for something ...

mine are at the front bottom of each door - the bit you probably kick every time you get in and out... no photos sorry. Worked well there as there is plenty of room without fouling glass. overhead console would work

no - the intermediate plate is from a 60 series that had the vacuum opertated push button for engaging 4wd... so there is no hole for the detent ball and plug as found on the lever activated type. its cast there but not drilled and tapped.

i just dont have the gear - got no drill press, dont what random taps lying around the place and havent got the right sized drill bits... costly exercise
guy down the road is going to do it for me on his lathe or cnc machine... see how it goes...

Hi - need to tap a hole into my landcruiser transfer case to install the front drive selector shaft detent ball/bolt...
its a M15 x 1.5 thread - if you can help out by tapping it for me please let me know asap!
In brissy south side but will head across brissy etc...

why would you get custom length extra mains made? that is what you have with the 55 springs. If the ride is not quite right adjust the spring pack to suite. You have lots of options as you can utilise the 55 pack and the 40 pack. I used 60 series main + second leaf and made the rest up from the 40 ...

hi guys need some replacement diff perches to fit onto 60 series housings... there are a couple of well know companies out there doing them for about $100 a pair but for a bit of cutting and bending of 4mm plate seems a bit pricey... keen to hear of any options or any one here from a fab place that ...

Hey guys
Got thr springs cleaned up and the mounting hardware sorted just need advice on removing old rivets holding the rear shackle hanger mounts to the chassis.
Once Ive got them removed I can shift the mount back an inch or two and get it done.

their prices appear reasonable on everything i have got from them so far... deal direct with your local supplier though - not the boffins in melbourne... they also have everything I asked for to date - right down to cone washers in my landcruiser...

would draining the oil, removing the outer pieace then jacking the opposite side of the axle up help dislodge it? then try and remove the centre... might take a bit of jiggling... wobbly the pinion back and forth to see if you can dislodge it...
