Yeah its a manual and i already have a unichip which did make a good increase when fitted( maybe im just used to it now). Ive also got extractors and 2.5" exhaust. So with a bit of head work and a cam it should make a noticable difference. Philip are you saying that the plug n' play replacement ...

Anyone done any cam/head work to there 3.9v8. Dont know if its me or not but mine seems to be gettin abit sluggish over the last 15 thou kms(i got 166 thou on the clock now). ive read about cam loubs wearing down thus the loss of power. i have just installed 3" flexcoils, new power steering box and whilst at new balljoints. Today had wheel alignment done and my castor was -00'40.
Thats with castor correction bushes in. So my question is what would the castor angle be if i get the swivels rotated.

i have 26.5" procomps front n' rear. ive even lifted the front shock tower up 25mm. the standard d1 tailshaft breaks the nipples off when it hits the cross member so i made a cut out. now doesnt hit. but the d1 shaft is about 1/2 the diameter of the d2 dc so its going to hit. the cross member you ...

i have a 2.5-2.75 lift and ive broken 2 nipples off the slip join on the front tailshaft from it hitting the cross member. then i put long shocks in, so i had to put a cutout in the cross member. yesterday unbolted the d1 tailshaft and put the d2 tailshaft in position(the dc is only about 15mm off ...

if thats the case i can see im going to have trouble with the cross member and dc hitting each other. could it be possible to bolt it the opposite way.(would the output flange fit the diff)

my original on my d1 has the slip part at the transfer end. if i were to put the slip part of the d2 tailshaft the d/carden would be at the diff end.

The d2 tailshaft i bought has nipples on the single uni and slip but not the d/carden unis

do you think that the k&n would do damage to the afm. i was told the a uni type filter would be no good(soaked oil) but a k&n type(spray on oil) would be ok

thats what i did, with a 200mmish piece of 6mm steel cut to shape and welded(on edge) to the underside of the cutout. don't think its as strong
as the original so i welded another piece of 12mm solid rod on the inside
of the cutout to help it from collapsing.

looked at 4" exhaust flanges won't work. Not enough meat for the 4 bolts.
i'm getting some flanges made.Then i'll weld them together and bolt e'm in.

yeah could do that. I was thinking about 100mm exhaust pipe cut 25mm and 2 exhaust flanges top and bottom.Then weld them together.

Front shock tower spacers

Does anyone have tower spacers that they want to sell or does anyone know where i can buy them as i dont have time to make them before the long weekend(workin away from home).

I was thinkin to raise them 25-30mm over standard height.
