Sealing the holden 5 litre distributor against water

G'day, Have gone and put a 355 stroker in the GQ nissan mid wheel base and want to know peoples ideas on sealing the distributor against water ingress. it is quite easy to take out, but l never put mine back in. It just has a series of spring steel spreader bars to remove once you are able to peel the liner out of the sills. I think it was glued in along the front (above the windscreen), but the rest was easy.
