about 2 weeks ago my 4x4 stoped working i think it may be one or both of the hubs now i was driving along in 2wd at 100ks i heard this bang then when slowing down and driving along slowly i can hear this grinding noise coming from the passeneger side what could it be? i dont know too much about the ...

How would i go about hooking it up directly for glow plugs they are 11v? not sure about alt it seems to charge it fine

Ive got a few probs with my ln65 hilux. the dash and tail lights now dont work havent really checked it out yet but hoping its just the fuse but if not what could it be? second my dash lights for charge,t belt and filter stay on at times....and last of all the most annoying problem is the glow timer ...

I get about 10-13L/100 will sit on 110 at 3000 RPM with 31's alright wouldnt push it much more tho. the tanks in them are 66L i think....reliable as long as they are serviced good and not thrashed as ive found out twice already :lol: What problems have you had with it? Undecided as to what I want ...

It would be a good idea to test your sender too, just hook it all up and stick the sender into a cup of boiling water as for temp mine anywhere between 90 - 105 normally but have seen it up at 120 before (boiling on the way back from cruizer park) :( looking at adapting a commodore radiator to keep ...

well my gauge only goes upto 120 so not sure if its gone up anymore its sits just over a quater with std gauge and sensor so ill try n get the adapter for the sensor that came with. or take it back

ok well i installed it today everything was shut so i couldnt get an adaptor for the sensor that came with it is it ok to use the standard one? i hooked it up to that took it for a drive and its sitting on 120

You know the price of a 2l vs 3l isn't much and you'll more torque and power. it should also just bolt straight in. it did with my lux, i even turbo'd her and she detonates now. i'd say around $2000 for a recon 2l and $2300 for a recon 3L. i got my recon 3l for $500... it depends who ya know. Wondering where to get a good reconditioned 2l from around brissy/coast with a fairly good warranty and wanting to know some prices? If it was out a surf the pump might need an ecu...try n get some pics of a surf pump and compare im fairly sure most of the surf pumps have a tps on it well the surf engine i bought did...if you still have your old pump try putting that on

As far as i know the cable is all good toyota still has the lux they didnt tell me the comp results ill ask them on monday, not sure when the fuel filter was last changed was on my list of stuff to do. oil and filter was last changed 2000k ago

What would the symptoms of injector pump failure? My hilux wont start now the other day was driving along it started revving really high close to 3500rpm and it was like the throttle cable was stuck but it wasnt and heaps of smoke started pouring out it was white sorda smoke..Turned the ignition off ...

Pics would be good...ive been thru this swap....except mine was putting a 84 engine in my 86 hilux...the only differance in the looms are the 84 is smaller and doesnt have a sensor on the bottom of the intake...and the newer hiluxes have a bigger loom for the sensor on the intake...Not sure about ...
