Gasket set for 4D56T for me was $160NZ. Valve grind and head clean up was $45. Head didn't need planing, but ring any engine recon place and they'll give you an idea. Biggest thing is the time to do it all, and the other parts such as cam belts that you may as well repalce if you are going that far ...
