Welchy
So youve got about 108 degrees going in if your turbo is efficient at that boost level and have you measured the out temp under full load.

Looks red-hot mate, I was told those airboxs were only good for flowing 135RWKW more or less. When on the dyno next time remove lid of the air box and then see what she makes...my bet is you'll be surprised Before you go pulling the intercooler etc of the rocker cover to mod the breather, why not b...

I think you hit the nail on the head Garth, i just spoke to a guy in SA who told me to restrict down to a 1-1.2mm orifice. I am currently pulling just over 70PSI under full RPM load. I am going to need to mod my crank case breather again i think as i dont have it going through a catch can. I think ...

It goes to show that at high boost levels, the ht18 just can't cut the mustard. Whereas a well matched Garrett stays reasonably level. Have you had any other turbos beat the ht18 when modified madrolla? Andy For the lower boost levels it performs really well and boosts as quick as the garret BB and...

from what i've seen the GT2860rs with the .64 turbine housing will make boost from idle and you'll have 10PSI before 2000rpm. Seen a lot of threads mentioning this but yet to see any evidence. Does anyone have actual dyno charts showing boost in conjunction with rpm. Went down this path with a simi...

And how do they go with efficiency and managing EGT's at higher RPM and engine loads.

Injector pump, is what I meant. Had a mate (fitter) look at it yesterday. It's leaking fuel from the front side. There's a pump specialist in town that mainly does heavy diesel jobs (cat, etc) who'll do the job at "mates rates". It was suggested that I could leave it go, (since I'm...

I'd suggest the same size housing for the front as you were using origionally if one is available with an anti-surge front cover, it sounds like you were experiencing compressor surge. They are sometimes hard to get but do work better. Its similar to when you put your hand over a vacuum cleaner, th...

it appears to be a no fuel problem. fuel to pump but no fuel out. cracked lines and nothing coming out. it is as if the pump is in the no fuel position. which i thought could be a fuel cutout solenoid or the ecu telling the pump to go to no fuel. so timing isn't out, otherwise it would still pump. ...

I run mine at 15.5 at idle and around 13.5 on cruise, dont they say that it should be 1 point higher than petrol if using stoichometric value.
