Hi all just wondering what type of GPS people run in these comps. Is a handheld Garmin sufficient or do we need something bigger and better.
Thanks

TB45 Alternater into TB42

Hi all, I am looking at upgrading my alternater from the standard crappy 55amp and have been told that the 100amp unit from a TB45 will bolt straight in without any mods. Can anybody confirm is this is correct. Thanks

Re: Willowglen 2011(NSW)

Tony,

I am having trouble getting my CCDA membership sorted, I sent the application away nearly two months ago, have sent several emails and I not received a reply or any info in reply as yet. Am I going to be able to join on the day at Willowglen so I can compete?

Thanks

GQ 35's Speedo Correction

Hi all, am just wondering what I have to do to correct the 10% difference now that I have 35's. It doesn't bother me but the engineer seems to have a problem with it. Can I purchase a correction kit or something, if so any details of where to purchase from would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance ...

Re: Busted something???

I only noticed the clunk at low speed when he was trying to crawl up a slippery enbackment, it only seems to be with the locker in but that would make sense as then there is pressure on the crown wheel otherwise when open I dont think that it would be as noticable. That's why I'm with you I think ...

As most have said, it really depends wot you want to use it for. Mine is not the family wagon, (wife has Prado read Tar Jockey) for that. I bought mine for a toy, 91 Mav for $4500 TB42 (petrol) spent another 8 -10 thousand on it (hope the wife doesn't read this) and have an extremely capable 4b that ...

Busted something???

A mate of mine has recently purchased a modified TJ, we were out the other day having a play when I noticed that when his rear air locker was in there seems to be a fair clunking and obvious movement (clunk I suppose) when driving. Now if it was my GQ and in the front I would bet on a busted CV ...

Hi all, was just wondering wot was involved in changing the Seira's drum brake front end to a disk brake front as it will be my sons car. Is it easiest to just buy a complete housing end to end and if so wot should I expect to pay for one.

Its a short wheel base.

I am afraid that " a bloke on the net told me it was OK officer" does not stack up all that well as a defence.

I dunno, this seems to work with my Mav having 6'lift running 35's and bar work all over on the road, you just have hope for that dumb blonde coppa...

Hi all, this has only just started so I want to fix it before it becomes a real pain in the ass.
