Went to rip it out last night, but it's a early S1 with no bolt holes in the pully to get a puller on.... so wasn't able to swap the CAS... computer is giving no fault at all.

Give it a go today when i can get what ever i smash trying to remove it

has two new pumps, at idle it's a lil over 30psi... found that the voltage from the crank angle sensor isn't right... so im praying once i swap that tonight it will be right.

was fine in the car befor it came out, if we pinch the fuel line befor the pumps to cut the fuel pressure it runs fine... but that isn't fixing the issue really.

running very lumpy and pumping black smoke, has crapped two sets of plugs in a week. yeah new oxy sens and the voltage is right at the computer

i have used the stock setup with a 16'' thermo.... have a issue tho atm, it's running bulk rich.... have swapped injectors and fuel rails... blown out lines and filters... swapped computers and map sensers..... checked voltages at the copmuter and they all read right... starts up fine and runs bulk ...

well got that sorted, next weird issue is the fact it's running bulk rich... oxygen sensor is reading 3.5 v and should be .5 un pluged...... weird

Hello all, just about finished putting a V6 in and can't find the battery charge light wire. With out it i can't get any charge from the alternator..
Made a lil wire and light back to the battery to see if the alternator was good and got charge, so i need someone to tell me what wire it is!!! 1987 ...

I just got some for my lux, usen a 13'' hoop as high on the rail as i can get it... hard on the inner guard! from lowrange, was about 600 for all 4 i think

Yeah that was my first plan after some reading and info i was given, i ended up usen a QLD fell that makes the same thing. 420 landed in tas, from lowrange they are about 470. So much of a muchness for cash amounts.... but it has to be better to spend money in Aus when you can these days ha ha. The ...

Well that is the way i will go i think, We are wanting to do some more touring. Best if i know it's all soild ( and i didn't do it ha ha ).... thanks again for the info. Yeah she is a good old girl, when i got it it was a mess. Will put a pic up when i get it all sorted

Well mine has a 3in bd lift in it now, needs to be cut down really. Cool thanks for the info mate, i just noticed that what i was thinking was a bash plate is a x member on on lowrange... but it will be about 500 landed. Also sent that bubs customs fella a text.. this is the car atm, got it blown up ...

thanks guys, i was thinking about making a plate to bole to the stock crossmember that will come back to pick up the new mount. But will look for these new cross members.

The one that my brother an i put together with the commo V6 an auto with lux diff's works well... with the new cage an spare (35) the weight is back to a ok level back to front.
It's crawls so easy an has the low down grunt to walk up anything with the lockers. Will run all day an not get hot, not ...

350rwkw with stock gear ? Most lux's using this motor are lucky to see 200 rwhp. I think this conversion is worse than a 308/253 combo in a hilux having driven both, but would be ok in a sierra because of the weight and the torqueless nature of the toyota motor wouldnt really matter.

just razzing, if this ends up working out for gav i am going to f8ind him a drover grill :finger:
other than snapping a uni it's working great, the extra kg's help the front flex well.
It will sit a wheel on a 44 drum still on all 4 now. As for the grill, u wont see it much from the end u will ...

So less im missing something, why not cut the weld round the ends of youe shaft. Get a new tube an press them in (weld ect). maken the new tail shaft aslong as u need... grab a nother female yoke. cut an shut that to have asmuch length as u need, We have made longer an shorter ones. mines stood up ...

get a drop saw, cut the yoke. find some tube that will side over the spline, weld that to the cut yoke as a spacer. then find some steam pipe to slide over the yoke..... weld both ends
