2wd in a constant 4wd is just crazy not to mention unsafe ive run my range home on rear only because of broken front diff pulled the axles and dropped the front shaft it was all over the shop driving home wouldnt recommend it at all

to test the stepper unplugit start the car plug it it should change your idle if not chances are its buggered

hit you ht leads with wd40 along with your coil and dizzy should keep 98 percent of water out of the way works really well and its cheap
that will help eliminate the ht side if theres another problem learking round

cant see any reason why you couldnt im not aware of any bad reaction between alloy and stainless but personally i wouldnt bother ive got about 70 of them laying round the shed

thats fairly common mate im not sure how your pump was fitted but some people dont silicone both sides of the gasket on the pump and water gets in round the bolt holes and sits causing exactly whats happened to yours just make sure you silicone the gasket both sides when you reassemble it mate

if your mechanical minded you can take the timing cover off without to many problems. behind the cover is just basicly your timing gear and chain nothing really the biggest hassle is retiming it but if you mark the rotor button dissy housing and a fixed point on the engine to put it back in to shoul...

The RACV guy said the vacuum/compression seemed good, well yesterday I took it to the auto elec to check the ecu and injection. the pulse is fine, spark is great so he did a compression test. i run a 98 octaine premium unleaded fuel in mine i get lot better mileage a lot cleaner burn and the aditives in it help with lubrication and keep pre ignition to a minimin even though its tuned for gas only just food for thought

So what have you actually got? An efi rangie with P76? Does it have spacer plates between the manifold and heads? If it does you could use a rover manifold and sus or strombergs. What year is it, is the EFI standard or been added since? You will most likely have to remove it, just unplugs under the...

can anyone tell me anything about the old thomas diff locks im told arb bought out thomas and renamed them arb difflocks but im unsure ive been given a damaged one and are currently trying to repair it any info would be greatly appreciated
