Re: 3spd auto

I would recommend just putting a decent stall in it first! no need for a manual shift, IMO. It will make the biggest difference by far. Whats a good stall size for a 'rock crawler'? Minimum 2500 IMO. 2750-3500 would be sweet depending on engine and stall design. That seems a little high for a 1.6L ...

Re: Suzuki- First Time Comp Truck Build

You got to decide, Comp car or Rego car. Completely different spec. Alot of comps in NSW don`t need rego anymore. Build one to do both means wasting alot of coin with stupid engineers and rules that wont make a very good Comp rig. A good start: Comp rig needs, v6 , auto, dual hilux-cases, 60 series ...

They are all the same. You can't run 6 dowles on an 80 series.
Ok cool, didn't know. What about a 60 series hub ? Will it fit onto the 80 series stub axle ? Just making some suggestions ....

can you upgrade the rest of the bolts to 10mm like they do on yhe rear of cruisers will make it stronger and no worries about extra dowels the only way that the 10mm upgrade will make it stronger is if i use the larger cone washers and get the flange tapers made to suit that larger cones. and i ...

plug lead upgrade ? 4.5L EFI L/C

I am going to do a major serivce on my 80series, it has a 4.5L EFI motor in it. Just wondering if there are any better plug leads out there for it ? the stock ones are about as big as a match stick. Will I gain anything from running aftermarket leads ? or should i stick with some stock replacements ?
