Warn Highmount What mods would you do to it??
I just picked up a cheap highmount. I have had a read over all of the different mods you can do to them but i cant how far i should do.... I am going to get drum wided, air free spool and bracing. Also will be putting on a 6hp motor, strengthen mainshaft kit. Would else would people recommend?? All ...

Was the old warn winch called a thomas?
I have seen for sale on the internet a warn highmount for sale. but in the picture the control solanoied pack it saids thomas. would this just be a old school warn highmount? It looks fairly old. Would this fine for a rebuild?

You dont have to use gussets. You just have to stagger your joins 10cm's apart for each layer. (i used to be a panel beater and thats what we are taught at school/ work)

i have put in a GU front + rear diff and gu sterring box and sterring pump. The panard rods if you got after market ones you just need to change the ends and then they pritty much bolt up i have the diff's with the 4.6 ratios and it makes HUGE difference. The brakes are heaps better i had a look at ...

GQ 4.2 dizzy cap what is the 8th hole for?
I have just been looking over the truck today. I have noticed that on the dizzy cap there is the 6 leads which go to the motor and then 1 to igination coil and then there is one little nipple left about 3 mm in size what is this for?? whats surpost to be on there??

I purchased some new tyres today (maxxis big hornss)
Now i need to buy some new rims now. Now should i get a 15x8 or 15x8.5 or 15x9? i also want to get it at the landcruiser offset just to make sure this is -22?? is that correct?

Needed RWC in frankston for corolla
i just picked up a 1997 toyota corolla and just did a check over the car fixed all of the bits that would need attention. I just need someone down frankston way to do a RWC on the car.

Running GQ 4.2 carbi on straight gas?
I am thinking of putting the patrol on straight gas just been having alot of problems with the dual fuel and petrol never works. So are there any side affects if i run the car on straight gas??
If i was to do this what type of tank have people put in there car to get better range?
