Front wheel bearings 98 r/rvr

:cry: Mate at work was telling me that the noise he has had in the front is wheel bearings on the way out.He then was told that he has to replace hubs as well as they are one unit at $750 t gst each.
Anyone know of this occurrence and cheaper way to repair it.

:) Christover,thanx for that but i still tend to think valve stem seals as full vacuum could be pulling oil past seal into cylinder.Everything else is new ,so if i have to put stem seals in i will use compressed air in cylinder and try my luck.Thanx again.
