ive had BFG muds and cooper STTs and wouldnt piss on them. got MTRs now and would deffenatly get them again. good on road and really good off road. they will clog up in thick mud but the coopers and BFs will do the same i would deffenatly choose MTRs over the other 2

make them. its really easy and they are really strong. i made mine 1 meter long out of 1 inch shed 160 steam pipe. a rubber bush one end and a rod end on the other end. the pipe measures 33.4 od 20.7 id and 6.36 wall. thew will never twist or bend

the "Z" link in the above pics will work but they are not that great and i really wouldnt trust them. i did have one on my car 4 a long time and i didnt steer half as good as the high steer. do it poapaly. its not something u want to stuff up

desial hilux is 4.5:1 petrol is 4.8:1 and some real earls petrols luxs were 5.12:1 but had a shit little pinion shaft

the hight isnt a problem. its over 1800mm wide. almost as wige as a gq patrol. the best i have done is put it on its side but were i did it a standard hilux would of gone over to. thinkin of A frame rear and 3 link panhard rear. wat kind of wheel base in a shorty would you guys recomend?

could even try suzuki carry van springs. they are almost as long as the sierra rears, bout an inch of lift and nice and flexi
