Under no circumstances should you interupt the ignition system with a kill switch
try connecting to the starter motor in between the crank and supply from the key using a change over relay with diode protection use a negative trigger to the relay switching negative to activate the relay

blew the ignition fuse yesterday, and again today, so im sure theres a short somewhere... anyone have any ideas where it might be? its a PITA coz it keeps shutting of my fuel pump on me when it blows... MQ SD33, 24V version cheers :P possible regulator fault on alternator or a internal relay diode ...
