Next week I will putting a post on Outers asking for expressions of interest for spectators. You will need to supply the name of the 4wd Club you are in & rego of ...

Any GQ Owners in the Penrith NSW area with reduction gearing

Hey, I've got a 2.8L Turbo Diesel GQ rolling on 305's (33's). I'm mostly happy with my low range but I'm finding in the tricky stuff I just don't have the low down torque that my mates with the 4.2's have. Short of doing an engine swap, I'm figuring reduction gearing would be a good way to sort this ...

Thanks mate, appreciate the tip. My second battery is located at the back of the 4wd, near where the compressor will be. Thanks to a mate of mine I have connected the two batteries with cable that is rated to about 1kv (1000v). Its like stupidly thick and massively over engineered. I have no voltage ...

Boss air compressor

Hey Guys,

I've got a Boss air compressor. Its the grande I think. 3/4 HP jobbie, 100% duty cycle. I picked it up second hand, but it needs a few parts. Does anyone know who the manufacturer is? I haven't had any luck finding out as i wanted to contact them to try to source some parts for it.

Cheers

Here's something interesting that maybe worthwhile knowing about the RTA and their perspectives on VSI50 that may also shed some more light on the situation: The RTA view the introduction of VSB14 (NCOP) as being a national minimum standard of vehicle modification. The states have the power to vary ...

I've heard a few people say that surely this has got to be passed by parliament first. Apparently not: Hi Simeon - the RTA have implemented these changes under existing legislation and because Parliament doesn't sit until Sept it won't be fixed overnight. Please be assured we'll keep you postedf on ...

Also there is a lot of confusion in this thread about how the trim height is measured. In the VSI document it shows it is measured from the centre of the rim to the top of the wheel arch. Yet it still states that any vehicle presented for a blue slip thats raised more than 50mm should be knocked ...

Only for NSW at this stage. But if it goes ahead i reckon it will only be a matter of time before we see it in other states Referring to the 4WD Action email VSI 50 affects everyone. Not just NSW based 4WDers. Please don’t think this regulation doesn’t affect you and your lifestyle. Even ...
