Any news on how this went?

I have a fmic sitting around the house and I think it'd go well on the 2.8 Jackaroo. Wondering how you went with the install.

Anything you didnt expect?

No chance. I looked at somthing similar once. Have a look at your front springs.. They are Mcpherson strut. Unless you change that for another design you cant fit any larger tyres.. Pity. I wanted some 29" A/Ts for my VN paddoc basher. Rears are the same in a sedan. Best bet would be mount the VN ...

No its not. Its a toyota Soarer V8.

Just take your 91 filter into the store and make sure they are the same before you part with your cash.

Im sure they would be the same anyway.. How similar are they to the 91 Twin Turbo filters?

Have you tried Toyota yet?

Just seal it up air tight. That'll fix the water and dust problem.

Although Ive never done it myself Ive seen a fer people use large diameter PVC and put a pod filter in there. There east to work with and you cheap. I was considering this for my own snorkle attempt.

Im no suzi engine expert. But if your going to consider the toyota 4AGE, have you thought about the 3SGE engine. They are a great thing, 2 liter Plenty of parts (turbo from factory aswell) they have been used extensively in racing and make good power out of the box. Problems that may arrise: They ...

I have an 89 turbo diesel Jack 4 door. Its pretty slow (compared to my twin turbo soarer) but gets great economy both around town and on the highway. I filled up and put 60 liters in the tank, then put another 30 and did 1100 Kms. Most of that was with 4 people in the car, plus all the stuff for a ...

Moving the oil filter shouldnt be a problem. If you only use a relocation kit, the amount of oil in the sump will be slightly bigger. It may put a small amount of presure on the oil pump but I very much doubt it would be a problem. Id like to find someone that made a kit for it, with braded lines ...

Although I have only done 2000Kms in my Jack. Also spilt oil EVERYWHERE! I think the only good solution would be to fit an oil filter relocation kit. Im not sure if anyone makes one to suit, but Im sure something could be adapted. It would also let you fit an oil cooler too. Not sure if the engine ...
