Ok everybody I found that chart about the suzuki gear combos.

This is assuming that you have a stock gearbox whyich has:

1st gear - 3.652
5th gear - 0.864

This will expain everything about any off the shelf gear combo available for a Sierra. Please note that the speed quoted in this chart ...

I`m running 33`s , 4.16 rock crawler gears , and 5.12 diffs.

If my speedo is on 100km/h in 5th gear the motor is revving at 3900rpm.
But my actual speed is about 95km/h.

I had a chart which shows you all the different gearing combinations for a zuk. Also shows you crawl ratio and rpm at 100km ...

Ok......this will be fun to explain hehe.

The retainer ring (which is the larger of the two rings) slides in between the ring gear and the carrier. Because the inside diametre of the Vit R&P is larger then the sierra`s, the two shafts that hold the sun gears pivot on will move around a bit. This ...

I spoke to a dude at the RTA about a year ago about driving with no doors for a zuk. He said that you can legally drive with no doors if the compliance plate DOES NOT display the number "24".
If you look at your compliance plate which is located near the brake booster it will have a shit load of ...

Well I`ve been running 5.12 front Vitara ring and pinions with ARB air lockers with no problems at all.

Greg your right in saying that you don`t need to shim up the gears if using the front Vitara ring and pinion in a sierra ARB locker carrier.

But if using the vitara R&P`s in a stock sierra ...

The best gears are the genuine Suzuki gears. They are by far the strongest and most reliable.
The manual vits come standard with 5.125 ratios and the autos with 4.625.

I`m running the 5.125 front vitara ring and pinions in both front and rear carriers of my sierra with ARB lockers. The gears ...

The rear is a 3 link. 2 extra long lower control arms and A-frame on top.
In theory given the control arm lengths and the misalignment capabilities of the rod ends, the rear axel could flex to an angle of about 70 degrees before the system would lockup. Of course you can never get that sort of flex ...

I`m currently doing a few mods to my zuk and theres a few parts I don`t need anymore.
