you'd still be alot cheaper then the intercooled version?

I have no dramas with the supercharger ... it did its intended job to get the wagon off the line reasonably quickly but replacing belts etc makin sure theres no slip etc etc etc and moving stuff in the engine bay to get it all to fit in blah

PAIN IN THE ASS + it definately needed an intercooler ...

They're made to be a bolt in solution for the Patrols.

The sets i've sold are ~10" Travel and 610mm Ext in the front, Rears are 12" travel and ~790mm ext. I've got a set here just winking at me to put in my car...well the rears any way as i've already done the front...complete with my neat res ...

you will need a intercooler 15psi is the max for it so 10+ your starting to cook the intake air = high EGTs

basic bolt ons will give you plenty of power
zaust plenty of cold air and a tune and some under drives and oil pump gears should see you about 250 ...

theres one next to turbo tech on great eastern hwy as well

a N/A 5.4 with full exhaust and good intake and a tune will be sweet to drive in a patrol

set of 4.6 diff ratios will keep it lively

I have been running Marin's Mav for a couple of days, power is noticeable you can tell you have 21% more KW, EGT's are down even with the fuel adjusted up, I also have to say it's quite fun to drive for a large Diesel.

The second thermo fan has arrived so I will fit that over the long weekend and ...

i'm guessing its a stock TD42 running 12 psi?

dont forget blowers lose compression braking where as turbos actually help it. to me there is 100 negatives for a blower and one positive....... low down tourque, the gains a negliable if at all over a well matched turbo on a diesel. you have to remember turbo diesels make useful boost below ...

guys its just 'my' opinion on these setups they do have their pros and cons


RMP&Os set up will be with a built motor and both turbo and S/C so all the PROS! and im keen as mustard to see the results :armsup:
